Chickens are a pleasure to keep in a back garden. We have eight hens who enjoy a free range life.
The benefits they provide include:
- the freshest of eggs
- pest control - particulary useful at keeping earwigs under control around fruit trees.
- chicken poo - great fertiliser and addition to compost heaps.
- adding interest to a garden.
